Prado y Neptuno Havana Restaurant

Restaurant A Prado y Neptuno is located at the corner of Neptuno street and the Paseo del Prado, right accross the Central Park.
This is one of the best Italian style restaurants in Havana, with a nice interior and good service. On the menu you will find a variety of Italian dishes: spaghetti, and excellent pizzas of course, but also fish and shrimp. The prices are acceptable, between 8 – 10 CUC.

I have eaten an excellent spaghetti Bolognese at the Prado y Neptuno restaurant. Only one remark - the wine is expensive. The cheapest bottle costs 25 CUC, and an Italian Barolo wine costs 160 CUC a bottle (yes, one hundred and sixty) so act the way I did and take a Bucanero beer.

UPDATE May 2009

Since one year the quality is declining and the price increased. A year ago the cheese was included in the price of a Spaghetti Bolognese now a small portion of cheese is a
2 CUC supplement. The new Restaurant Europa in Obispo street is a better option, tasty dishes at a cheap price.
