Hi, I am going to apply as a permanent resident to cuba. First I want to know if I can get a Permanent Residency in Cuba after I can get work in Cuba. What was the work in cuba?

Answer by Vic Webmaster

Immigration into Cuba is very restricted! You can't apply for a Permanent Residency unless you are married to a Cuban citizen, have a work permit, have a safety deposit of 5,000 cuc (= 5,0000 USD) in a Cuban bank, have a place to stay (home address)

WARNING : At the present time it's very difficult to get a job in Cuba, the Cuban authorities have announced the lay off of 500,000 workers. The only possibility to get a work permit is to work for a foreign company in Cuba. (on the payroll of a foreign company)
