I will get right to the final details, A few years ago my best friend in Toronto brought his Cuban girlfriend to Canada and he met her at the airport and so did two other Cuban Canadians and one of the Cuban Canadians told my best friend that his lawyers would be in touch.
Yep that's what happened and my friend along with his broken heart was responsible for monies for a year.

your future ex- wife comes to Canada that you have enough money to pay for her
stay.) This is very common and so you guys who think your foreign girlfriend loves you, Think again. In Canada young beautiful girls aren't attracted to you and so why would young beautiful girls be attracted to you in Cuba or elsewhere? The love you experience from these girls in Cuba or elsewhere is not real. Once again it's not real, And your probably thinking right now
"Your wrong my girl really loves me" Yeah Right! Maybe just maybe if your under 30
and good looking and you met a girl in Cuba, JUST maybe she really likes you.
Oh well! If you have some extra money go ahead and try and if it works out, it works
out and if not you paid for someone's Freedom.

A sad story, heard over and over again. The Canadian authorities (and others too) should warn their citizens for this kind of traps. These stories should be mandatory reading before boarding a plane to Cuba

hey that's definitely a burn. but fact is even women in canada have a...sugar daddy complex. women love to be taken care of. add in poverty in cuba factor, and it is ripe for people to get conned.

Your friend was actually responsible for his wife for 3years!! not just one year, and if she applies for welfare in that time, he will have to repay it all back to the government!!!! It's true, do the research. I had one male Cuban friend tell me that its like this:
In Cuba, nobody trusts anyone. Words like trust and respect do not exist in the culture. The minute you turn your back your husband or wife might be out with your best friend, and you are cheating at the same time.
That is the way the government has taught its people to be-the only way to be certain that no one will turn you in to the authorities is to be certain that NO ONE ever really knows what is going on inside your head and your heart, and you keep them locked up forever. It would take years of living in a better country to be able to let go of all that training since you were little!

I dont know how you all let them get away with it, you must know where they live in cuba, if it happened to me I would split her head open and petrol bomb their family home in cuba one night while they were all sleeping. and those women who let thier cuban husbands bash them about in their own country? dont you have family of your own? big brother, father or friends? if it was my sister it was happening to I would cut the cubans liver out!!

I believe you are responsible for the individual for 3 years ...not 1. You may want to check this but it was 3 years when I made the tragic mistake. Most Cubans have no consience,,kEEP THEM IN CUBA AND GO TO VISIT...SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE...AND LOSS OF MONEY.

Your story is old and it's being played over and over again as we live and breathe every day.
The pain is unbearable-but somehow you have to go through it.
By reading and being informed of this tragedy,I saved myself a lot of headache's.
What happened to you has happened to many good-hearted women,and many have lost their home's and life saving's-and even custody of their kid's.

I'm Still Paying For My Puta - Five Years On

Anthony so sorry to hear about how your friend was duped, conned, scammed by a Cuban woman.

It's a big mistake to fly them out of Cuba. Date them romance then but leave them there!.

I made the mistake of flying my now ex wife out of Havana five years ago and I'm still paying the price.

Within six months of bringing her here she had hired a female woman's right divorce lawyer and had me thrown out of my own house on some fabricated trumped up charge.

I do not know how the b....ch did it but she managed to get my house as part of the divorce settlement.

She is currently living in my home with her Cuban lover who was seeing communicating with behind my back all the time we were married, and I am renting a bedsit.

Cuban women are the most devious conniving women in the world. They will play you, tell you anything, spin so many lies do anything as a means to get out of Cuba.

I would advise any man to not ever invite a Cuban woman to his country.

You will end up paying a fortune, and put yourself in debt for years . You will live to regret making the biggest mistake of your life.
