American Travel to Cuba

by Twyla
(Cayman Islands)

Hello Vic,
Please post on Havana Guide.

AMERICA TO EASE CUBAN TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS.

Its Good and Its Bad, because The United States of America never eases anything for anyone without having a plan for something in return. Cuba be careful!!!!!!!

They will want to set up Burger King, Kentucky, Wendys and the lot near your schools.
Then what next, the revolution will crash. Cuba is beautiful and unspoilt, some easements
are good but they have to watch certain countries who will want to deprive them of their beauty.

Cuban Travel Restrictions - Mixed Feelings
by: Anonymous

Quote:
" U.S. officials say President Barack Obama has
directed his administration to allow unlimited travel and money transfers by Cuban Americans to family in Cuba." (end of Quote)

The news has released mixed feelings and reactions.

The Miami Herald publishes already a "Guide to Havana" others say "that President Obama should ask Cuba too, to lift travel restrictions".
A few short reactions on Cuba forums:

* It is a very happy day for all cubans americans, yes indeed, this mean we can travel to our country as much as we want,
I just wonder myself if the cuban gov would allow all cubans to visit their families.

* It sure is a step in the right direction.
I am sure that the Cubans Americans are thrilled by this. Looks like the regime is opening up a little bit at a time. It will also means more money in the regime's pocket.
But as long as the families can be reunited, I am all for it.

* Cubans are happy that relatives in America will now be able to come whenever they want,
stay as long as they want and send as much cash home as they can. About 1.5 million Americans have relatives in Cuba.
