ANSWER: by Vic webmaster havana-guide.com

Havana, offers many great attractions to the tourists, especially Old Havana. A must see, is the Castle El Morro, built in 1589. This castle was built as protection against the pirate attacks. Another castle is La Cabaña, built around 1590, where each night at 21.00 hrs a cannon shot is fired to indicated the end of the day read more:Cannon cermony Havana .
Plaza de la Cathedral, Plaza Vieja, Plaza de Armas are wonderful squares and tourist magnets.
Don't forget Obispo street with the hotel Ambos Mundos where the Nobel Price winner Hemingway lived. The nice Parque Central, with the statue of José Marti at the end of Obispo street. There are plenty of tourist attraction, more than you can visit in one or two days. For more details read Havana city tour
