Bar Dos Hermanos - Old Havana
Bar dos Hermanos (Two Brothers Bar) is located on San Pedro
street #304 in front of the Sierra Maestra Terminal, where the ferry boat to the Havana Regla area departs.
This bar has a nice, classic Cuban interior with dark varnished wooden panelling, and claims to be the oldest Havana bar.
The Havana bar is frequented by tourists and Cubans and is a part of the Havana Cuba history. Some travel guides recommend the " Pollo dos Hermanos" (Chicken two Brothers dish)on the menu, but I was disappointed by the dish, the quality is as low as the price.
But they serve excellent Mojitos, the famous Cuban rum and mint cocktail, Cuba libre cocktails as well as the
Cuban beers brands , Cristal and Bucanero.
Several Havana attractions are nearby.
You can also visit the Museo del Ron (the Rum museum) a few steps further on.
UPDATE: May 2009 At this moment the bar is closed for a complete renovation.
