Bar Monserrate - Old Havana Cuba

Bar Monserrate, situated at the corner of Avenida de Belgica and Obrapia street, close to Obispo street and Parque Central ( Central Park) the bar is a popular place in the Havana nightlife.

A traditional Havana bar with high ceilings and dark wooden panelling.The clientele is a mix of Cubans and tourists. In the afternoon and evenings you can enjoy live music, much of the ambience depends on the music band that's playing.

Cristal beers and Bucanero beers at 1 CUC, Cuba-Libres, Mojito's and Daiquiri's at 3 CUC. Cheap food and snacks are available, but the quality is varying.

My advice: Good Cuban ambience and cocktails at fair prices only the food could be better. A perfect place for your first encounter with a Cuban bar.

Bar Monserate is one of the lively Cuban bars, always life music and ambiance, where I have spend many hours of great fun.
