Cuba - A Beautiful Country. But The Customer Is Always Wrong!

Am I the only tourist who has been bullied by stroppy staff at Cuban Hotels?
I love Cuba and have been travelling there with my family for at least twelve years.
We particularly like the smaller vllages and resorts which tend to be quieter have nicer people and do not attract the louder drunken moron on a cheap package.
During our last trip we happened to encounter some really nasty receptionists at a hotel in Varadero.
Not one but the two of them were rude, unhelpful and downright nasty. We were given incorrect advice and they deliberately did not inform us when friends called for us, instead they kept them waiting in the lobby for hours.
When we dared to complain about this, they hurled abuse at us.
Security was called and they threatened us with 'Immigration' with a fierce look in their eyes.
Scary!
It seems that the customer is always wrong in Cuba.
And it's the same when you write the truth on Trip Advisor. You are bullied by their 'Senior Members' who hurl abuse at you in emails.
They even have your review removed if it is deemed to be in any way negative.

Why does Cuba see itself as beyond reproach?. Above criticism?.
Sure we love the island and return there and put a lot into their economy.
But bullying the consumer this way is just not right.
And Trip Advisor is not helping by removing negative reviews and allowing their 'Senior Members' to abuse and bully anyone who dares to post a critical review.
So much for Trip Advisor's 'Impartial' stance. They are all about collecting advertising revenue from hotels and resorts.
