Cuba Vietnam Relations

The Cuba Vietnam, bilateral economic cooperation between both communist countries has expanded over the recent years.
In the past the trade between both countries was close to 500 million US dollar. On November 28 2010 the 50th anniversary of the Cuba - Vietnam relations was marked with a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh city (the former Saigon)

Cuba - Vietnam Trade

Cuba is one of Vietnam's biggest rice importers. The rice import from Vietnam reach 400,000 tonnes per year. Other Cuban imports from Vietnam include electronic equipment and materials for the pharmaceutical industry.
