Cuban Army Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR)
The Cuban army (Revolutionary Armed Forces - FAR) were supported by the former Soviet Union from
1966 until 1980.

17-28 years of age for compulsory military service; 2-year service obligation; both sexes subject to military service (2006)
