Cubana Airlines


Cubana Airlines Cubana Airlines - Cuban de Aviación, is Cuba's largest airline carrier founded on October 1929 and has its headquarters in Havana Cuba.
Cubana de Aviación main base is José International Airport located at Avenida Rancho Boyeros Havana.
Cubana has 13 offices in Cuba and is 100% owned by the Cuban government.

Brief History

* The first flight of an airplane in Cuba took place on May 7th 1910.
* On February 8th 1928 Charles Lindbergh arrived in Cuba from Haiti.
* On February 24th 1930 José Marti International Airport was inaugurated.
* First phase of Terminal 3 expansion International Airport José Marti inaugurated on April 1998.

ICCA - Instituto de Aeronáutica Civil de Cuba

The ICCA (Civil Aeronautics Institute of Cuba) a founding member of Cubana de Aviación was created as an agency of the centeral state administration under Decree Law 85 in June 1985, with the mission to implement and monitor the government policies regarding air transport and related services.
