dogs in Cuba

Can I take my dog to cuba?

Answer by Vic Webmaster Havana-guide.com

Yes you can bring your dog to Cuba, but you need
an International Veterinary Certification document
that your dog is vaccinated against Rabies.
You also must contact the airline company to check if they transport animals. Some airlines do not transport animals. When you enter Cuba you have to declare your dog at the immigration services.
The dog can be subject of inspection by the Cuban Veterinary Inspection Services. In exceptional cases they can decide that the dog should be hold in quarantine for some weeks, but this not the normal routine and rarely happens.
