Exchange Rates at the Havana International Airport

I live in Venezuela (but i am from the United States), and I was wondering if they exchange the Bolivar Fuerte at the Havana International Airport when you arrive on a flight. I did not find exchange rates on the Bank of Cuba website and have looked for it. I know it is hard to change the Bolivar Fuerte anywhere (almost impossible except on the Colombia/Venezuela border. Please let me know. Thank you

I doubt that they will accept the Bolivar, my experience is that they are suspious for counterfeits etc. and that they will take no risks.
This can cause a lot of delay for you, when the cashier has to ask for the bank manager etc.
My advise is to stick to internationally standard currencies and banknotes, but DON'T use US dollars, there is a 10% extra charge on the American dollar! Neither use traveller cheques. Exchange your Bolivars in Euro or Canadian dollar, this are the most common foreign currencies in Cuba, to have the least problems.
Note Pay attention when exchanging money at the airports, the cashiers at the airports are notorious for short-changing, ask a receipt and count your money.
