Gato Tuerto Nightclub Havana

The " GATO TUERTO " (one eyed cat) bar/club is located at O street between 17th and 19th street in the Havana Vedado district.

The club is a traditional Jazz club ( Trova,Fusion) where you can listen to the traditional Cuban bolero's by the best local artists. Elena Burke was a regular performer in the club before her death in 2002. The club is popular among Cubans but also frequented by tourists, mostly an older clientele. The bar serves excellent but expensive cocktails.

Upstairs you can eat in a stylish restaurant, but the dishes are nothing special and the service rather slow. The entrance is free but there's a minimum consumption of 5 CUC. The club is recommended for amateurs of traditional Cuban music.
