Havana-guide: information about Havana University

Spanish Immersion
Edu-tours to Cuba offers a Spanish immersion package – a whole series of Spanish courses at the University of Havana – from two weeks to a full semester. The basic standard course takes place during a two-week period, and the package includes airfare, hotel accommodation, and the cost of the course. For three- and four-week courses, there is a supplemental fee that must be added on to the cost of the basic two-week course.
You can also learn business Spanish with a special course designed for those requiring special training for business purposes or for any commercial field. There’s also a special three-week course offered on Cuban culture. Four-and six-month courses and full semester (October to June) are also available.
The university’s Faculty of Foreign Languages has 19 years of experience in Spanish second-language teaching. Havana has always been an appealing location, and the university is situated in the bustling Vedado area, one of the main cultural areas of the city, within five blocks of the famous Malecón, the sea wall bordering the ocean. Vedado is also about a 35-minute walk, or a ten-minute taxi drive to Old Havana.
