HOTEL HABANA LIBRE - Vedado

The Habana Libre hotel is also known as the former Hilton hotel . In 1959 Castro made the hotel his revolutionary headquarters.
This five star hotel has 574 spacious rooms with minibar, satelite TV, bancony, double glazing windows, and safety box. The hotel is specialised in business tourism and has a conference hall ,meeting rooms and has several bars , clothing and souvenir shops.

The Habana Libre is located in the heart of the Havana Vedado district on the 23rd street ( better known as La Rampa) and L street, close to the Havana University and the famous ice cream parlour Coppelia, the hotel Nacional and several important ministries. La Rampa is well known for the animated nightlife. The distance to Old Havana is 5 km.
