a legendary four star hotel, with a rich history going back to 1860 and located at the corner of the Paseo del Prado and
Neptuno street, has 63 well equiped and spacious rooms, most rooms with a view over the the Central Park (Parque Central)
and the Paseo del Prado. (the new steet name is Paseo de José Marti, but everybody is still using the former name Paseo del Prado) The bar and lobby area contrasts with the original Colonial Havana style. The hotel has a snackbar and an international restaurant on the ground floor. The service is good, but the the restaurant dishes overpriced and below international standards. The restaurant Prado y Neptuno across the street offers more budget friendly dishes than the hotel does. One of the major advantages of this four star hotel is its prime location at the lively Central Park ( Parque Central) and close to several Havana tourist attractions, the Capitolio , the Gran Teatro de la Habana, the statue of José Marti, the famous cigar factory "Real Fabrica de Tabacos Partagas".
