HAY QUE IR A TODOS LADOS, TENER BUENAS E INTERESANTES AVENTURAS, CON RESPONSABILIDAD PARA NO CORRER RIESGOS, PERO SI TE QUIERES CASAR, NO BUSQUES TAN LEJOS, CASATE CON ALGUIEN DE TU PROPIA COMUNIDAD, QUE NO SEA TU PARIENTE, POR SUPUESTO, ESO ES LO MEJOR, PORQUE comparten una ideosicracia y forma de pensar en relacion al magtrimonio, que le dara una mejor comprensión a la vida en pareja, por eso digo, para casarse no hay mejor mujer o varon que los de casa, esto es loes de tu propio país, si vas a cuba disfrutala y pa delante compay, no te atores ahí que nada bueno te dejará.

Please never marry a cubano, Cuban men are just trash, I am a good looking woman, but I'm an american citizen, just what a cuban girl or boy is looking for, they will talk to you as sweet as possible, they will convince you to marry you, I made the biggest miskate of my life marrying a good looking Cubano, I thought that since everybody says that I am so beutiful, this looking Cuban man was gonna love, I found out that he has a partner in cuba and that she new everything, when I visited the Island, she went to leave with her parents, they both used me, I spent about $17,000.00 in him and the visa process, one day when i got the date for his interview, I decided to go to Cuba and surprised him, the surprise was for me, he was sleeping with his woman, they all are just trash. But I am happy cause even though my heart was broken and I spent a lot of money, I canceled everything and they are still in cuba, I going to leave him marry to me for a few years, so he can not do the same to anyone for a long time... f... u cuban

It is disgusting everything you are saying. I am a cuban girl and you can not imagine how sad it is all that. i know many cuban girls make theses sort of things, but it is just a small sample of one society. Most cuban women are honest and smart, and take care family and are proud of the country and their selves.
It is so stupid for some cases, to say the whole country is the same. I met my husband in Spain while I was studing, and after our marriage in cuba , when I came back at our home , I discovered he was not honest with me, and he used to meet many young women and i feel really bad. I am de cuban, it is me, he is from Sweden. and I realised in the world there is bad people, and people who are not honest and dont know how to love, but the world is a beautifull place with nice and charming people and love is possible everyday.
best regards and be respectful, this way it is easy to get the same back.

Please Please listen and don't make the mistake of falling for a cuban guy's bull. They have a very sweet mouth and will tell you and the other 10 women they'll meet not long after you the same thing.

I have just uncovered such man. He tells me the same things he tells to his 6 other women on email.

He meets them at his work place, takes them for lunch and pays. He pretends to be shy, very handsome, sexy, tells you everything you want to hear... I don't want to get married... baby just want to get to know you. You can come and live in Cuba, I don't want to go abroad because of my family.
I don't care if you have nothing, I just want you.

He is dangerous and will use you. Once you either get him out of the country and he leaves you or you run out of money from buying him expensive things, processing his visa. Maybe then you'll come to your senses. Don't be deceived by the beauty of Cuba and its people, that will be your downfall. You are better off brokenhearted in your country with your finance intact than broken hearted and just plain broke.

I warn you, leave these men and women alone...the love you feel is momentary and the love they have is for freedom and money....freedom by you, not with you!!

I too have found and possibly fell in love with Cuban. I am a pretty smart girl and I know the chances of it being real probably aren't that great, especially after reading all these comments. I met his Family and all seem like really nice people and I want to trust and believe him but its so risky. I think he is planning on coming here If we EVER got married he really wants to work and everything I just can't wrap my head around all the things I read on Cuban men,thoughts?

Cuban men are sexy and say the nicest things to you, love you, miss you, cant wait to be with you, after meeeting one on holiday, he tells me next time I come back to Cuba we should go and get married in Havana and I would have pay myself for the wedding service, rings, translation of all the documents from English to Spanish and then I can look after him when he comes to England. he says he will find a job and then he will be able to send money home to his children and family. The first time we met he had it planned out and still he wants us to go ahead and get married.
I know 90 per cent of marriages in cuba end in divorce they are desperate to escape their country. I have seen how they live, yes I do feel sorry for them but they should not use us to escape. Us humans, have feelings..... don't be fooled by them.

Spiros I find it hard to believe you were not aware you had married a hooker, because clearly that is what you married.

When a women marries for money and passport it is not for love but convenience. She is not better than a prostitute.

Did you not take the time to get to know this woman?. Did you not see/meet her in her home environment?. Pick up the clues?. The obvious signs that she had a man and was conning you.

A woman who has a lover/partner will surely act in a way that raises suspicion. I just cannot believe you were so besotted with this tart that you did not read the signals.

They say that love is blind but you were in love with a prostitute and you say you had no idea.

I hope this experience has not made you bitter. I would give you my advice and just do not marry again.

Why marry when you can have a stress free life and keep your finances intact by just having a girlfriend.

Marriage today is a dirty word. No longer relevant to the majority of intelligent people.

The only ones desperate to marry are then whores seeking a passport out of poverty. Russians, Thailand women, Cubans, Africans.

All of them have denegraded the word marriage and made it worthless. As meaningless as the paper they sign when they are conning you and thinking about how much they can take you for on the day they divorce you.

What I have discovered, is that it is not a very good idea to trust these young Cuban men and women. The reason is that they lie too much. They are great pretenders, and will fool you with such words like" You are good, and you are pretty" Dont believe anything they say that you do not know yourself.
When they want something from you they will call you the sweetest names, and make you believe you are the best person in the world. Don't believe it please.
The way they love is different from ours. They love for material things and money. If you offer them something and it is not name brand, they do not want it and will sell it for money to buy something name brand. If you have a man and he has a woman, she will go and stay with her mother or some other family, when she hears that you are visiting. She really does not care, she only want the money you will leave with him or any clothes or ipod, dvd, or other things you may bring. Do not give them large amounts of money. I have friends in Cuba and after finding out their ways of thinking, I do not give them any large sums of money. They will spend it all in one day. I send 200. cuc per month to a person I can trust, who give my adopted family 20.cuc every Friday evening. I know that can buy them food for the week. If you are looking for sex and a good time then I say go for it. You will receive the best loving, but I am warning you do not loose your head in the making. You will be sorry. To those who think they have the perfect partner. It is just a matter of time don't take your eyes away from the flame, it will disappear and you will wonder where.

Hmm...Well, I equate "class" in women (or men) as it's universally understood with intelligence, sophistication, hardwork, ethics, values and integrity. None of which falls under the definition of "tricking" or TRICKERY....(A little advice: Your post would not read so foolish or dumb if you didn't place sentences right next to each other that contradict).

Most Cuban women are NOT jineteras. They are smart women with class. It is true that many want to leave the country and will do so by tricking you...but if you arent a fool, you should be able to tell the difference between someone who actually loves you and someone who is just using you. You are just a stupid tool and they used you because you are dumb. There are differences in Cuban women like there are differences in American women. No one is the same. To say never marry a Cubana is like saying never marry an American, simply because they are American. Stop being so foolish, grow a pair...and a brain. :)

most of the cuban girls in cuba are jineteras,therefore when they got marry the betraye their husband they only want to leave Cuba by any means,this is their main goal to leave Cuba, It's a shame. When you go to Cuba you have to use them, by saying yes of course I'll marry you, just use them they are only trash and nothing else.

Dear Spiros in Greece, Obviously this woman is only using you. The cheap sex thrill aint worth loosing a lifetime married to a woman or man who wants another. If you are young get rid of her when she leaves, and find yourself a good woman. If you are old, get rid of her much faster, or you will die a lonely old man.
I had a friend who invited a Cuban man to the Cayman Islands and married him after. That was six months ago, now she is seeking for a divorce. My friend has a beautiful home a well paid job and money in the bank. The Cuban husband did not want to work, and wanted to go to Cuba every month like a rich chicken. He would always go a week before my friend. Why? because he want to spend a week with his Cuban lover before she came. Had another friend who was married to a Cuban woman, who after visiting came back with an illness from her Cuban boyfriend and gave it to him. It was really terrible for the guy. I will say it again, if you want to help someone, do it, but do not make the mistake of marrying them. They will continue to have a partner in Cuba and will eventually leave you.
