Photography in cuba

by Luc
(Canada)

Besides not being able to take photos of military, airports or port installations or personnel what are some other general tips to taking photos in Cuba and of the Cuban people? Obviously asking permission. Anything else?

ANSWER by Vic Webmaster

You're right, taking pictures of military installations is prohibited. Always ask permission, it's a way to show respect. In some cigar factories and museums you 're not allowed to take pictures. Sometimes a gift of one or two CUC can make a difference and open doors.
