ROMANCE IN CUBA!

I just cannot understand the amount of beautiful available ladies who go down to Cuba and become infatuated with trash. What do you guys see in these losers? Is it the sex? Is it romance? What? What romance can you have with someone who you barely know or cannot even speak your language? First and foremost, I am Cuban myself and I want to tell you something; MOST Cuban guys, blanco, mulato Negro, jabao, etc… rather be with their Cuban honeys. This is a fact! Why? Because they need to be treated like shit and they like that! It’s a strange phenomenon to explain but mostly true. Ask any Cuban man if he had money and a good life in Cuba and no need to leave if he would rather be with a foreigner or Cuban? I see this phenomenon too many times, just recently in our Hotel I saw a very nice looking lady from Quebec in her 30’s with an ugly Mulato that was playing her big time and I could not understand why this lady is with him? Is she blind? Can’t she get a guy at least in her own level? It was clear to me that this guy was not a pro; he was “un muerto de hambre”. He was so pathetic and obvious that at the same time he had a fling going on with another cubana that worked in the hotel….It’s sad to see ladies having no dignity or self respect clinging onto a guy who has nothing to offer. What do you think you’re gonna do? Marry him, take him to Canada and change him into something he can never become? Let me explain a little more about how life and culture influences these types of behaviors in Cuba. Many (if not all) families are broken, meaning that most of these types of people come from homes were dad wasn’t around (probably an alcoholic) single mom situation and grandparents raising kids. They grow up resenting marriage, and the concept of faithfulness never exists. Pre-teenage years, they start having sex, more partners even better. Later on, they get married either she’s pregnant or it’s “the thing to do”. No clue on how to prepare for marriage life, no home to live in so move into parent’s home. No real job, no money and absolutely no responsibilities. Sooner or later they start having sex with old and new friends and in fact this is an accepted behavior. In Cuba you can ask any man how you feel if your wife cheats on you and I guarantee you the response would be; I have cheated on her many times and no worries, there are plenty of ladies around. If you ask Cubans today what is your dream, they will tell you to work in tourism. Logical no? But when you ask them in detail why? You will hear 90% of the time the same response: To be in tourism! Having access to goods which stealing is no issue and/or be near a Yuma (foreigner) who will serve for only one purpose.
