Santa Maria del Mar

Santa Maria is biggest and busiest of the eastern Havana beaches also named the "Playas del Este", It's a popular and excellent place for beach activities, tourists can dive, rent jet skis and sailboats.
In the weekends the place is visited by locals from Havana. The playa is situated at 25 km from Central Havana, a 20 minutes ride by taxi.
The main street is the Avenida de las Terrazas, with hotel Tropico, hotel Las Terrazas, hotel Horizonte Atlantico.
