Good to know that the CUBAN PESO CONVERTIBLE CUC used by foreigners as well as the PESO NACIONAL CUP used for internal payments by Cubans are both currencies with an artificial value only valid in Cuba. The Cuban Peso Convertible CAN NOT BE EXCHANGED outside Cuba so I advise to convert them before you leave the country. Outside Cuba both currencies have no value.
