The best bar in Havana Cuba without a doubt!

I went to Bar Monserrate in 2005, the atmosphere was electric! The band were awesome, the chef even kicked open the kitchen door brandishing a spoon and a cheese grater so he could join in with the band!

Persistent begging through the bars of the windows can be quite annoying but this, for me personally, was the best watering hole in Havana. AN AWESOME BAR and one EVERY visitor to Cuba should visit without hesitation.

Yes, I can only agree, this Havana bar has a great ambiance, I have been several times in bar Monserrate. The ambiance depends a bit on the music band playing. If you enjoy the fun and music I also recommend a few hundred meters further bar la casa del Escabeche on Obispo street...same fun and live music.
