what do I have to do to enter cuba

by nancy
(new zealand)

I have a cuban passaport , what do I need? Do I need proroga o just the passport, anyway the passaport is good for 5 years.

ANSWER by Vic Webmaster

I suppose that you have the Cuban nationality or maybe a dual nationality, Cuba-New Zealand?
You have to know that for the Cuban authorities, you are still a Cuban citizen, Cuba does not recognize dual nationalities. I don't know the latest requirement for Cubans abroad, so the best you can do is to contact the Cuban embassy in New Zealand. You can't return with only your passport, Cubans abroad also have to pay some kind of taxes depending on the duration of their stay abroad. Did you got PRE? (Permission to travel and stay abroad?) An answer to all these questions can be given at the Cuban embassy in your country.
